Overview
The Automatic Candle Filter is a closed, fully automatic pressure filtration device. Its interior consists of multiple “candle filter elements,” making it suitable for high-precision, continuous or semi-continuous liquid clarification filtration.
In the sugar and syrup industry, it is primarily used to : Remove suspended impurities, activated carbon, pigment particles, and fine solids, thereby enhancing the clarity and purity of sugar solutions.

Selection Notes (Limitations)
- Equipment investment costs are relatively high. Automation systems, pressure vessel structures, and control systems result in higher initial investment compared to traditional plate-and-frame filters.
- Operational management demands are relatively high. Proper control of precoat aid application and operating parameters is required; otherwise, filtration efficiency will be compromised.
